Racism in Britain - Poisoning the Working Class

Britain is the fourth richest country in the world, but where does this money come from, and where does it go? It's not seen by the thousands of people abroad who produce most of it, exploited by British imperialism. And it's not seen by many working class people in this country, who don't have access to decent education, housing, employment and healthcare. Racism is used to divide working people so that they will fight each other and not the ruling class and its councils, government and companies, blaming everybody's problems on immigrants and terrorists. Racism is used to justify the exploitation of other countries by Britain, dividing workers internationally. Britain is illegally occupying Iraq so the British ruling class can control Iraqi oil, and this is being paid for with the blood of the Iraqi people and British working class soldiers. Most people know it's a war for oil and we know that our government lies. And yet we still believe the media when they talk about terrorists. The newspapers and government lie. They are controlled by very rich people who have an interest in making us think certain things. 97% of the media is owned and controlled by seven companies, and they expect us to believe that this is a democracy?

Asylum Apartheid - Dividing the Fightback
Since 1999 asylum seekers' housing, benefits, and other welfare have not been dealt with by the usual council and government departments, but by a separate body - NASS. This is the racism of the ruling class made concrete in an institution. Because of NASS, asylum seekers are treated with double standards to the rest of the working class. Most of them are refused the right to work, and (if they're lucky!) they get benefits 30% below the minimum income support for other workers. Many British working class people face the same problems as asylum seekers of poor quality housing, low incomes and lack of access to healthcare and education, but their struggle against this is deliberately kept separate by the ruling class. We are told that if asylum seekers and British people live together, they will start fighting each other. The reality is that the ruling class are scared that if asylum seekers and British working class people get together, they will start fighting the real cause of their problems - the ruling class and the capitalist system which makes them rich at the expense of the majority of the world's people.
